The event takes place on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Americana Conference Centre in Niagara Falls. During the event, guests enjoy samples of gourmet soup prepared by Niagara's finest chefs and served in one-of-a-kind bowls created by local potters. Included as the perfect complement are Niagara wines, beer, cider, fresh bread and decadent desserts. Guests take home the empty bowl as a continuous reminder of those who struggle to meet basic living needs in our community. Year after year the event is attended by over 500 guests with more than 20 different food and beverage vendors. A People's Choice Award and Platinum Ladle Award for best soup are awarded to the winning chefs at the end of the evening.
