Canada Strong Pass: Your Passport to a Canadian Summer

This summer, from June 20 to September 2, 2025, the Government of Canada is rolling out the Canada Strong Pass, a national initiative designed to boost domestic tourism and showcase the country’s natural and cultural treasures

What the Pass Includes:

  • Parks Canada access
    All visitors enjoy free admission to national parks, historic sites, and marine conservation areas. Plus, camping and overnight stays are 25% off.

  • Museums and galleries
    Children 17 and under enter free; youth 18–24 receive a 50% discount at national museums, the Plains of Abraham Museum, and select provincial/territorial galleries.

  • VIA Rail travel
    Kids 17 and under ride free with an adult; 18–24-year-olds get 25% off rail fares.

No Pass Required
No registration or physical card is needed—just show up at participating sites and naturally receive the discounts. Previous Parks Canada Discovery Pass holders with valid passes for June–August 2025 will have those extended by three months

The initiative encourages Canadians and visitors alike to reconnect with Canada’s landscapes, heritage, and shared identity while supporting tourism and local economies. It’s an invitation to:
